Cutting DNA Molecule with restrictases
Researchers utilize restrictases, primarily tiny "molecular scissors", inside the lab to slice DNA Molecule into smaller sized pieces for them to assess and adjust it quicker. Each restriction enzyme identifies and may affix to a specific molecule on DNA called a digestion site. The enzymes slide along the DNA, and anytime they locate their restriction site, they slash the DNA structure.
